Do you know your child’s passion? Or asked a different way: Have you stopped long enough to see your child perform or display his/her passion? I know I struggle with this. I’m task-oriented. Too often my tasks get in the way of “seeing” my kids.
This past weekend though I had the kids by myself and decided to put everything down. As odd as it sounds, my kids became my “task.”
Here are a few highlights from the video:
-Take permission to put the phone and distractions down to focus on what your children love to do.
-If your kids ask you to do something, ask yourself “why not?” If you can’t come up with a legitimate reason, let the memory unfold.
-Nobody else can discover and draw out our kids’ passion the way we can.
-Make it a “task” this coming weekend to celebrate what your kids LOVE to do.
